Open daily, year round and located along the Niagara Wine Route, we invite you to taste samples of our VQA wines at the Niagara College Teaching Winery Education Centre, and take in a tour of our production facilities for a nominal fee.
Taste Lesson
1/2 Hour, minimum of 8 people
$4.00 per person + GST
Learn about Canada's only teaching winery, your knowledgeable guide will lead you through a tasting lesson while
you sample 3 VQA wines at our on-campus wine store.
Educational Tour and Taste Lesson
1 hour, minimum of 15 people
$6.00 per person + GST
This in-depth guided tour will take you through Niagara College Winery. You will see the inner workings
of Canada's only teaching winery. Your knowledgeable guide will give you an informative tour of the winery.
This tour ends in the campus Wine Store where you will be given a lesson
on the basics of wine tasting. During this lesson you will sample four of our outstanding VQA wines.
Tasting Room Sensory Class
Minimum 20 people, Maximum 40
$10.00 per person +GST
This tour is for those that are serious about wine tasting. Experience what it is like to be a student of wine. This one hour sensory class will give you in-depth knowledge of how to taste like a professional. The class will be held in the state of the art sensory lab. You will taste 4 VQA wines.
Culinary Institute, Greenhouse and Winery Tour
Minimum 15 people
Price by quotation + GST
We can coordinate a tour that will include a visit to the Greenhouse, tour and tasting at the Winery and
lunch or dinner at the Dining Room.
