Wine Description:
This lightly coloured ruby wine exhibits a cheery black cherry and cinnamon nose
that is rounded out by subtle hints of leather and plum jam. Dry in the mouth with
light tannins, the flavours reveal a touch of vanilla and clove over concentrated
black cherry fruit and a tangy sour cherry finish.
Suggested Food Accompaniments:
Pork with a sour cherry glaze is the ideal dish for this wine, but roast veal or turkey also works very well.
Reviews:
Purple-black; earthy, black fruits; plum, prune and bitter chocolate flavours; acidic finish.
