Wine Description:
This wine has a beautiful dark garnet colour with a big nose of candied beetroot, vanilla and cocoa. Stewed sour cherry and raspberry flavours combined with a dark fruity long finish make this an excellent wine.
Suggested Food Accompaniments:
Canadian venison, duck breast, turkey and cedar planked salmon.
2009 Awards:
Cuvée Awards - 1st place
Reviews:
Bright ruby-plum colour; minerally beetroot and raspberry bouquet, a real sense of terroir here. Mature plum and raspberry flavours with a note of violets; medium-bodied, forward fruit with mellow tannins, a fine spine of acidity and a lovely mouth feel.
